Another town in Puglia with a whitewashed historic center, a noble ducal castle - all surrounded with a traditional rural landscape dotted with trulli and fortified farmhouses.

In the Medieval times the town became a medioeva; stronghold, and was ruled by various noble families who ehanced the town's defensive and residential architecture. You will enjoy walking through the historic centre. It is a maze of whitewashed alleys, stone staircases, and traditional chianche (paved stone) streets.
