Urbino

Impressive ducal palace and town

Urbino

A village called the cradle of Italian Renaissance. Urbino is considered one of the most important centres of Italian Renaissance. Federico da Montefeltro, to demonstrate his family's power, built the Plazzo Ducale ducal palace. He certainly achieved his goal.

In 1998 Urbino was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as it was a point of attraction for the most known Renaissance scholars and artists from all over Italy.
