Arqua Petrarca is a small town in the Padua Province and holds the "I Borghi più belli d'Italia", the most beautiful villages of Italy, designation. In the Middle Ages the original village developed around a fortifgied castle on the hill. Arquà features two city squares: Piazza Petrarca (Petrarch Square) and Piazza San Marco (St. Mark's Square).

Arqua Pewttrarca developed as a village that originally supported the castello built at the top of the hill.

Baone is a small town about 25 km from the town of Padua.
